Hi there! My name is Cheyenne and I own Photos by Chy. Growing up in San Diego, I always had a camera in my hand taking pictures of the beautiful sunsets, oceans, and architecture. As I grew older I realized that I had a passion for photography, which turned into a hobby. Then, with the push of family, I decided to turn it into a business. After I got my first client and found out I love doing it as a profession, I hit the ground running and never stopped.

I relocated to Colorado in early 2024. With its beautiful landscapes, mountains, and history, it was hard not to fall in love immediately! Despite the huge altitude change I had to adjust to, I love hiking and walking around the different parks and parts of town such as OCC, Manitou Springs, Palmer Park, and exploring the Garden of the Gods. The peace and solitude I've found here has been such a refreshing change from the hustle and bustle of San Diego.

I specialize in capturing stunning portraits, special events, and family photos, but I take all kinds of pictures! My creative eye and personal touch allow me to capture memorable moments and turn them into art. I am dedicated to delivering exceptional images that meet the needs of all my clients and communicate throughout our time together.

My Process

Introduction - Forms And Communication

I will send you a form to fill out so I have all the info I need
I will set up an introductory phone call, video call, or an in-person meet-up to clear up any details and answer any questions you may have
In the call, we will list out your expectations for the shoot and I explain my process
After we set your expectations, I will send you a contract to sign along with an invoice for the deposit to book the date

During The Photoshoot - What To Expect

I will always visit a new location beforehand so I can scope out the best areas for the shoot
I will send you a couple of tips and tricks for the day of the shoot so you're more comfortable with getting your picture taken
I give clear and simple directions for poses and make the shoot fun and easy so you can sit back and look amazing!

After The Shoot - Payment, Pictures, And Reviews

A deposit of half the total quote is due when signing the contract.
Within a week after the photo shoot, I will send you a group of photos to go through and choose which you would like me to edit according to your chosen package
After I receive your selected pictures I will edit them and send them back to you for a final sign-off and make any necessary changes
Your final product will be sent along with the last invoice with the remaining balance, due 3 days after receipt.
