Hi there! I'm Cheyenne, the heart behind Photos by Chy.
Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in San Diego, I was always behind the camera—capturing breathtaking sunsets, stunning ocean views, and the charm of the city. What started as a passion quickly became a calling, and with the encouragement of family, I took the leap to turn it into a business. From the moment I worked with my first client, I knew I had found something truly special.
In early 2024, I relocated to beautiful Colorado, and I’ve been in awe ever since. The mountains, the rich history, and the endless scenic spots have completely stolen my heart. When I’m not behind the lens, you can find me hiking through Garden of the Gods, strolling through Manitou Springs, or soaking in the sun at the pool. It’s been an incredible adventure, and I love bringing that same sense of joy and discovery into my photography.
I specialize in portraits, family sessions, and special events—but no matter the occasion, my goal is always the same: to create a fun, comfortable experience while delivering stunning, high-quality images. I want you to feel like you're spending time with a friend, all while knowing you're in the hands of a professional who truly cares about capturing your best moments.

My Process

Introduction - Forms And Communication

I will send you a form to fill out so I have all the info I need

I will set up an introductory phone call, video call, or an in-person meet-up to clear up any details and answer any questions you may have

In the call, we will list out your expectations for the shoot and I explain my process

After we set your expectations, I will send you a contract to sign along with an invoice for the deposit to book the date

During The Photoshoot - What To Expect

I will always visit a new location beforehand so I can scope out the best areas for the shoot

I will send you a couple of tips and tricks for the day of the shoot so you're more comfortable with getting your picture taken

I give clear and simple directions for poses and make the shoot fun and easy so you can sit back and look amazing!
03
After The Shoot - Payment, Pictures, And Reviews

A deposit of half the total quote is due when signing the contract.

Within a week after the photo shoot, I will send you a group of photos to go through and choose which you would like me to edit according to your chosen package

After I receive your selected pictures I will edit them and send them back to you for a final sign-off and make any necessary changes

Your final product will be sent along with the last invoice with the remaining balance, due 3 days after receipt.
